Fuji Finepix S1800 fits snugly May 7, 2010 Robin D. Page (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I measured my camera and checked the inside dimensions of this case and decided to take a chance and buy this. My Fuji Finepix S1800 with lens cap slides in with a little effort and has enough room at the top to coil the neck strap and my spudz cloth.
I was looking for a case to protect the camera while it was in my purse and I think this will work. I also have the option of using the velcro fasteners and attaching it to the strap of my bag.
There's a removable plastic stiffener behind the padding on the fastener side of the case. Since the back of my camera is flat, I'm leaving it in, but for those using it for lenses, it might work better without it.
I might use the webbing in the lid meant to hold a lens cap for extra batteries.
Perfect for it's purpose April 6, 2010 Bird photographer (Champaign, IL USA) I bought this case so I could carry my Canon 28-135mm lens attached to my Lowepro toploader Pro 75 AW, and it works for that. With some coaxing I am able to fit the lens hood into the case, too. I put the lens in first and then put the hood in over the back end of it--it's tight, but it works.
Information March 27, 2010 J. M. Greenberg (Miami) Very good quality for the money. Does what it's designed to do, without any compromise.
Good addition to camera bag March 18, 2010 Jennifer Higdon (Hampstead, Maryland) This lens case fits snugly on my new Lowepro camera bag, and it's secured with super strong velcro. I'm not worried about it coming loose from the bag. I would highly recommend it to others.
Convenient and practical January 19, 2010 John D. Booth With a generic web belt, a topload case and a couple of these you have the beginnings of your ideal belt rig. I purchased two to go with my topload zoom case 1. I have three lenses in my regular kit currently and while the shortest would fit in the lens case 1S I didnt want to restrict my rig to only being packed one way. The construction of the case is solid and its easy to open and close with gloved hands.
