 Very cute but small! August 31, 2010
It's ME
The camera case is very cute and I love it! It fits my pentax kx and it will probably fit another small lense. My only complaints are that it is small and I wish it had a shoulder strap. I knew of these issues before I purchased it though from reading other people's reviews. I use it as a place to store the camera and I just ordered an optech case for when I am on the go.

With no intentions of ever putting a camera in it, I ordered it for the Mrs as a surprise. She LOVES it! Let me start by admitting that I am a girl who generally carries huge bags. I read the reviews on here, but I just assumed the bag was a certain size based on the picture of the camera body next to the lens. I own a Nikon D5000 and with my 18-70mm lens attached I can fit a 35mm lens next to it but only with the camera sitting on its base and the 35 laying horizontally next to the attached lens. There's no chance of getting a flash in there. The side pockets would fit a wallet, but only a very thin one and I would be afraid of it falling out so I'd probably put my wallet in with the camera instead of taking an additional lens.
Checking out the bag here on Amazon, the one thing I really wanted to see were measurements. Since I couldn't find any, I've included a few of my own.
The base of the bag is about 4.5 x 5 inches (*just* big enough to fit my camera body) and it's roughly 6.5 inches high. A lens much bigger than mine (18-70mm, so about 3" on its own) and the bag wouldn't be able to close.
Moral of the story: This bag is cute, well made, and I feel as though the padding + vinyl exterior would protect the camera well. Unfortunately I think I will be returning this since it's just too small to really carry anything besides my camera. Also, as others have noted, longer handles would've been really nice. No way this is fitting over your shoulder.

I got my Acme Made the Bowler camera bag, and i love it.
the inside is very soft, making it easy to take my camera
in and out, it's stylish, and well made. my only complaint
is that it smelled like fish once i got it, yuckk.
